- 625 g chicken thighs
- 0.625 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.25 tbsp sesame oil
- 0.25 tbsp mirin
- 0.25 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 0.375 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.75 tbsp gochujang
- 0.25 tsp five spice
- 0.25 tbsp garlic powder
- 0.25 tbsp onion powder
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp Korean chili flakes
- 0.375 tbsp minced garlic (adjust to taste)

Add all the marinade ingredients (soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, and gochujang) and seasonings (five spice, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, Korean chili flakes, and minced garlic) into a large bowl and mix until combined.

Add the chicken thighs and coat every piece evenly in the marinade.

Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, but a few hours or overnight is even better.

Air fry at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
